lIFE AT THE UNIVERSITY (TRUE STORY)

Life at university/college truth be told 

Its 10:30 A.M and am sitting somewhere at Mzumbe university here at Morogoro. I have been here for a week now enough time to for me to gather the information I need for this article. 

Truth be told I haven't yet graduated my advance level studies but I got lucky to stay for a week here at Mzumbe university and learn and observe how life is at the university or college, you will be surprised I tell you, 

for starting let's see where i slept, there are different kinds of rooms big dormitories and other almost like houses(private rooms). I slept in one large big dormitory it had more than 40 room where in each room there were three beds double dackers so the whole thing could take about 200 students or more.lucky for them boys and girls don't mix in one dormitory not as other universities like UDOM, there are girls dormitories and boys dormitories of course there are no restrictions here so people can go anywhere they want anytime. Now I have to say I was surprised at first to see a girl coming to our room and sleep with her fiancé for the night sometimes they make up while we are still in  the room which I find so inappropriate but it gets ordinary as you stay there. There are lots of couples here, sad enough the oppressed gender is the male I mean girls take advantage of boys so much they have to buy food most of the time buy them presents, give them money they have to hang out with them like all the time so sometimes this thing imprisons the male that they can't actually concentrate on there studies which is the main reason why they are there at first place and maybe fail there exams at extreme situations.

 Oow yes the dressing codes most governmental universities have dressing codes but lucky for students here they don't have any dressing codes so they get to wear what they want short skirts,skinny jeans whatever seems right to you some joke about going naked to class and nobody will care I don't have any opinions on that if it's right or wrong but in any case it's the majority vote and opinion.

food one of the greatest joys in life well the least money one can spend per day on food here is 3000/= tsh that means if he/she drinkers tea in the morning for 1000 and food for the same price in the afternoon and night or sometimes it gets higher when you take juice or water which we all know is the most essential drink of the day, of course there people who lives under that amount who's life are surely poor ones but you can't tell who's life is hard and poor here it's just impossibly hardy the thing is most boys don't enjoy there boom because they have to spend it with their girlfriends which means they don't eat well.

another thing is religion most people are were good in praying before coming to college but this changes instantly as they adapt new behaviors god help this community because there are few people who stands to there believes of course sometime people may go to church but it's just like going to town most of them don't go there to pray for real to there god. yesterday at 23:05 P.M in the middle of night I came across a group of people almost ten in number praying at the basketball grounds they were praying hard I felt the presence of god there but mind you the university has more than 10000 students and only ten gets to pray there see the difference. 

Studying the main thing that always brings all of us together in different areas of life. If your not yet in college or university your probably thinking it's so easy to make it there since your friend from college told you so, like advanced or ordinary level life is hard, studies are hard but trust me the only difference is that at secondary level you get to be commanded all the time and beat up sometime but here at the university it's the opposite your free to do what you want even if you won't go to class as long as you get good scores your safe so I was surprised real surprised to see people in the late at  night roaming around the campus doing discussion and other studying at the library I mean they have to other wise they get supriments or  worse discontinued which may get you chased out the university or repeat the course you were taking which is real bad so it doesn't get easy as you go up it gets harder and you should rest only a bit and keep on struggling as hard a you can because that is war.

general life here is cool and nice not easy and it demands commitment and time, I mean you get to study with older people than you or younger than you so don't be surprised that's university. No body cares it's just how you plan your things and make your desicions that's how your life will be and not other wise.

I know now is the time the form six graduates prepare to go to college or university they shouldn't estimate life here but prepare for battle because it doesn't get easy it only gets harder and awesome.
